วันที่ 20 มิถุนายน 2567 ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานสิ่งแวดล้อมและควบคุมมลพิษที่ 16 มอบหมายนางสาวพัณณ์ชิตา  ทัพพ์วรางค์กูร นักวิชาการสิ่งแวดล้อมชำนาญการ ร่วมฟัง International Symposium on Air Pollution : Solutions for the Transboundary Haze Issue in the Mekong Subregion ผ่านระบบออนไลน์ Zoom Meeting เพื่อเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้บทเรียนเกี่ยวกับปัญหาหมอกควันข้ามแดนในพื้นที่อนุภูมิภาคแม่โขง เพื่อนำไปสู่การแก้ไขปัญหาหมอกควันข้ามแดนในพื้นที่อนุภูมิภาคแม่โขงร่วมกัน โดย ดร.สุพัฒน์ หวังวงศ์วัฒนา ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์รวมผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านมลพิษอากาศและภูมิอากาศ คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ เปิดการประชุม

หัวข้อการประชุม ประกอบด้วย Session 1 : The session provides an overview of transregional air pollution issues in Southeast Asia and a case study on health impacts of PM2.5 in Vietnam, so to setting the scene towards the significance of the Air Pollution Issue for solutions to be sought in the next session. Session 2 : The session highlights the Clear Sky Strategies and its Joint Plan of Actions being taken among three countries in Mekong Subregion. International cooperation on the integrated approaches for air quality management and climate mitigation in Southeast Asia.
